The installation of Hot Melt Monolithic Structural Waterproofing Systems requires the use of an Agitating Hot Melt Cooker to melt the material to the correct installation temperature. These machines require a significant finincial investment to purchase and ongoing maintenance and certification to ensure continued safe use and compliance with legislation. {Trading Company Name] have a fleet of more than 70 Agitating Hot Melt Cookers available for hire across the United Kingdom, either LPG or Electrically powered and in 1.5 or 3 drum sizes.
The insulated double jacketed hot melt machines require a site 110v power supply (within 20 metres) to run the motor that drives the gearbox and agitating paddles plus two (2) number full 47kg Liquefied Propane Gas cylinders. The hot melt cookers work by producing heat from an open nozzle propane burner firing down a series of stainless steel perforated tubes, allowing hot air and radiated heat into the heat exchange chamber to provide faster melting times. All machines are thermostatically controlled and are fitted with paddle agitators.
